Digital learning to support Adult Social Care
A light and positive piece of bespoke eLearning, which supports learners to take on a new way of working through empathy and interactivity.
The challenge
The Adult Social Services division at the Vale of Glamorgan Council were looking for an eLearning partner to create an innovative eLearning module that would excite and engage their learners in the Strengths-Based Approaches to Adult Social Care.
They wanted someone who would think creatively about the content, make it feel positive and human, and help learners to see how they can embed these ways of working into their role to improve the lives of the people they support. It’s all about focusing on what people can do, not what they can’t.
At First Media, this is right up our street.
What we did
To create an engaging learning experience, we used our own bespoke eLearning framework.
This is great for mobile optimisation as well as being fully customisable; giving us freedom to create our own exciting elements to suit the content and design.
Learners embark on their own journey through a non-linear module where they have the freedom to jump in and out as they wish. We used interactivity, custom illustrations, scenarios, reflection questions, and authentic video testimony and written quotes from practitioners and service users.
We also worked with Vale of Glamorgan to provide bespoke data to their LMS due to the innovative, non-linear format. And provided a separate resource area to offer learners additional assets and resources.
The result
